We discussed fundamental issues and theories surrounding art production, distribution and reception. Students learned to identify common characteristics among diverse artworks based on periods/styles and themes and developed strong writing skills when describing, analyzing and comparing works of art.
I love tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to expand a students knowledge of a subject. I like assisting students with new study methods and ways to help with critical thinking in terms of AP testing, note taking, essay writing, etc. when it comes to subjects of Art History, Architecture, and Art Theory.
As the great-great granddaughter of Frank Lloyd Wright, I have always had a passion for art and design. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Arizona State University and a Masters in Arts Management from Columbia College Chicago.
