I try to make my tutoring sessions fun and relaxing. My main goal is to have the student understand concepts rather than specific homework questions, so in the future the student can problem solve any question given. Rather than "doing" the student's homework, I like the student to explain their reasoning on problems and help them end up at the right answer on their own. By talking out loud, and problem solving themselves, the student learns overall concepts and can apply them to any problem.
