From there I moved on to Merrill Lynch to serve as an Investment Advisor Representative. I passed my series 66 on my first attempt without requiring a tutor as well. I served as an IAR for Merrill for over 2 and 1/2 years.
I then left securities and entered insurance. Sold Life and Health and Property and Casualty Insurance. I passed all of those exams using the same process as I had implemented in my securities licensing exams.
In 2016 I finished my MBA and accepted a position with Quicken Loans (Now Rocket Loans) to become a licensed mortgage loan originator. I passed my NMLS exam. Again, on my first attempt without tutor assistance.
I have been instructing 2 sections of Computer Information Systems at a local Phoenix Area Junior College for over 7 years.
I have been tutoring for an additional five years on top of my teaching.
I have a lot of success tutoring for licensing exams. Over 8 out of 10 of my students are successful on any licensing exam they attempt.
I find that students retain information better if we make the sessions fun and memorable. I use impersonations, accents, industry experience, and a laid back attitude to help with student retainment.
