I am currently a medical student at Creighton University SOM pursuing both an MD and MPH after completing a BS in Biology at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. My academic training has provided a strong foundation across biology, chemistry, physiology, and anatomy, including approximately 30 credit hours of anatomy spanning undergraduate anatomy, graduate-level cadaveric anatomy, and medical school coursework. This depth allows me to connect foundational science to clinical relevance and tailor explanations to students preparing for healthcare careers.
My years of teaching experience began in earnest during college, where I worked as an undergraduate teaching assistant helping hundreds of students in Biology, Cellular Biology, Genetics and General Chemistry I in both a classroom and laboratory setting. I also have years worth of tutoring students one-on-one in Organic Chemistry, helping them strengthen problem-solving skills, prepare for exams, and develop effective study strategies.
As a tutor, I emphasize student understanding of content above all, and accompany the student to help them achieve their course goals. I am also the recipient of a full-tuition medical school scholarship and have several first-author publications. Additionally, I serve on my medical school's admission committee, and can provide interview feedback/mock-interviews.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you soon! Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a session.
