I hold a bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from Wheaton College, where I developed a strong foundation in analytical thinking, writing, and problem-solving. My academic background required extensive work in economics, finance, statistics, and critical reading, which allows me to clearly explain complex concepts in an accessible way. Through both coursework and applied projects, I learned how to break down difficult material into manageable steps and adapt explanations to different learning styles.
I have experience tutoring and teaching peers in both formal and informal settings, particularly at the college level. I have worked one-on-one with students to help them understand economic theory, quantitative concepts, and academic writing, focusing on building conceptual understanding rather than rote memorization. My approach emphasizes asking guiding questions, using real-world examples, and adjusting pacing based on the student’s comfort level to ensure long-term comprehension.
In addition, I have leadership and instructional experience through mentoring younger students and athletes, as well as teaching and advising college athletes on business, branding, and NIL-related topics. This experience has strengthened my ability to work with students ranging from high school to college age in one-on-one and small-group environments. I have been teaching and mentoring in these capacities for several years, and I prioritize creating a supportive, structured learning environment that builds confidence alongside subject mastery.
