I have spent the last decade committing my life to learning and medicine through undergraduate and graduate degrees, as well as several years working at the bedside in the ER as an EMT and an RN. I completed my ASN and BSN in 2021, through a concurrent enrollment program offered at Glendale Community College and Arizona State University. I have since transitioned into a nurse practitioner role in psychiatry working in an outpatient private practice since completing my MSN in 2025 and obtaining my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license. My certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS. The best way to learn medicine is to understand the concepts, not memorize the material. Learning how to understand major concepts in medicine takes time and I am here to help you build those critical thinking skills early.
I am very skilled at adapting to the learning needs of those around me. I believe in the "see one, do one, teach one" approach. My goal in tutoring medicine is to provide the "why" of everything. Critical thinking skills are gleaned with time and experience working in the field, it's gained over time and not taught in a textbook. I am here to help you develop these skills early so we can use them to help you change your thought processes to help you better learn, understand, and retain medicine. I often incorporate real world clinical experience whenever I am educating to help with conceptualizing difficult concepts or topics. The time in session is yours and I am happy to spend it how you'd like, even if that means talking all things nursing, your nursing journey, career paths, etc.
