I am a native Mandarin speaker and a current Montessori teacher in the United States, working with children ages 6–9 in a Lower Elementary classroom. I hold a Master’s degree in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Qingdao University of Science and Technology, and I have several years of experience teaching both in China and in the U.S. My background in education and cross-cultural communication allows me to support students with different learning styles and language backgrounds.
I specialize in teaching young learners and beginning Mandarin students. In my classroom, I focus on building confidence, clear pronunciation, and practical language use. My approach is gentle, patient, and structured. I enjoy creating engaging lessons that help students feel comfortable while learning a new language. I have guided many children through early reading, writing, and conversation practice using Montessori-inspired methods that emphasize independence and joyful learning.
I believe that learning a language should feel encouraging and enjoyable. My goal is to help each student grow at their own pace while feeling supported and successful. I look forward to meeting new learners and working together to build a strong foundation in Mandarin.
