AP & Honors STEM Tutor with Real Lab and Clinic Experience

I am a current high school senior with advanced academic training and extensive experience teaching STEM subjects. I have completed 12 AP courses, including AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Physics, and AP Calculus, and I currently take college-level coursework in Organic Chemistry I & II and Linear Algebra. I earned a 1570 SAT superscore and maintain a 3.97 unweighted GPA.
I have 3+ years of experience tutoring students from elementary through high school in math and science. I’ve taught in one-on-one settings, small peer groups, and structured academic programs. My approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into simple, intuitive steps and using spaced repetition and active recall to help students build long-term mastery. I also adapt explanations to each student’s learning style—visual, verbal, or practice-based.
I have additional instructional experience from my research and clinical internships at a major hospital and a top research university, where I regularly explain scientific concepts, experimental methods, and data to peers and interns. These experiences strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, teach problem-solving strategies, and support students who are intimidated by STEM coursework.
