I believe in a supportive approach to teaching that encourages gradual independence every step of the way, and that students must be in a calm space with their needs met before they are ready to learn. Once they are ready, I teach concepts before practicing them with the student, gradually reducing my support until they are confidently completing the tasks all on their own.
That said, I value the unique insight that parents have into who their children are and how they learn. After all, you know your child best! As such, all feedback and suggestions are welcomed. Feel free to reach out for more information or to schedule a lesson!
