I am a rising senior at North Carolina State University, with majors in Physics and Chemistry as well as minors in English, Classics, and Mathematics. I am also a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society and the NC State University Honors Program. I am a rising senior at North Carolina State University, with majors in Physics and Chemistry as well as minors in English, Classics, and Mathematics. I am also a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society and the NC State University Honors Program. I am excited to start tutoring through this platform- as a fellow student, I want to help others reach their academic and professional goals, as I know how important these are. At my school, I have been involved with the Physics Education program through facilitating demonstrations in the classroom, as well as in mentorship of underclassmen in the Physics department. I have also tutored local preschool students (about 10 hours) through the Charlotte Bilingual Preschool during the COVID-19 pandemic, when local educational resources became much harder to access.

Through these experiences and in my own observations, I understand the importance of critical thinking and interdisciplinary education. Having completed the Advanced Placement (AP) track at my high school, I understand the criteria that standardized tests expect from students and how to be successful in them. I also understand how to go beyond the rubric and prepare students for the expectations of college courses, and can help current university students with their challenging work. I hope my perspective as a student will provide valuable insight into the current academic world.

My tutoring focus is in (but not limited to) the sciences, particularly Physics and Chemistry, and I will work with high school and university students with their studies. By emphasizing the underlying concepts of a topic, I hope to build students' knowledge from the ground up, so that they may apply their knowledge in any situation. I also teach test-taking skills, helping students communicate their knowledge effectively in an exam setting.

I am easy to reach by email- feel free to send any resources to work through before a lesson, as well as any specific topics or concepts you'd like to cover. I look forward to meeting you!
