Hello, I’m Brittany! I graduated cum laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences. I also studied science education and taught science and math as a “Subject Expert Teacher” at an accelerated, nationally renowned school. In total, I have been in education for the past 8 years with experience in 5th-12th grade and collegiate-level tutoring and 5th-7th grade science and math education/curriculum. I was a certified CRLA (College Reading and Learning Association) tutor from Aug 2017-2020 and was hired by my university to tutor life sciences, math, and chemistry.

My teaching style is diverse! I can modify and mold my teaching style to fit anyone's learning needs. Since I have been teaching in a classroom for the past 5 years, I have become very versatile in my approach with students. Each student is unique and there is no “one-size-fits-all" to teaching. I will take the time to get to know my students and their learning needs to ensure our sessions are always productive and engaging.

My fondest memories of school were always the ones that stood out, like when my teacher would connect a concept to something silly, or if a peer helped me to better understand the content. When we can make learning fun, it doesn’t feel like learning. And that’s my goal—to make learning enjoyable! I’m relatable, fun, and interesting.
