Hi and nice to meet you!
A little but about myself: I have experience working with children during my enrollment at UCLA and with the students at my previous private school job. At UCLA, I helped tutor a high school student in Algebra 1 for half a year through Bruin Partners. Bruin Partners is an organization that places UCLA students at low income schools to tutor high school students. I have also tutored with Reading Partners, a subgroup of AmeriCorps. In this position, I improved children’s reading proficiency through the company's online software. At the private school, I built positive relationships with the staff and students to build a sense of community and guided children to academic success. With my experience and enthusiasm, I believe I would be a great tutor for you!
I assisted children in class through my level of excitement and ability to match the students' learning style. I understand the importance of being patient, open, and organized to guarantee the student’s success.
I earned my bachelor’s degree at UCLA this year under Sociology and Education. I will use my experience and education to provide a successful environment for you or your student to thrive.
I am enthusiastic about being your tutor since I would love to bring my experiences and give you or your student a fun, engaging, and effective learning opportunity!
I use games, activities, and will make sure I am prepared for every lesson.
I have an TEFL certificate and learned many useful techniques to help aid student learning.
Thank you and hope to hear from you soon!
