I'm a student at Purdue University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence, where I've maintained a 3.9 GPA and earned Dean's List honors every semester. My own results are a big part of why I love SAT and ACT prep: I scored a 1560 on the SAT, including a perfect 800 on the Math section, and a 35 composite on the ACT, with a 36 in English, a 35 in Reading, a 34 in Science, and a 33 in Math. I'm also a National Merit Finalist and an AP Scholar with Distinction. Because I've personally navigated these exact high-stakes, timed exams at the top level, I know the strategies that actually move scores.
Most of my teaching experience ties directly to standardized testing. As a volunteer instructor with Schoolhouse World, I designed and delivered structured online lessons focused on test prep, built customized problem sets and logical frameworks, and coached students through timed practice so they could stay calm and efficient under real exam conditions. That remote work sharpened my ability to explain concepts clearly and precisely, even without sitting in the same room as a student.
I also spent a year as a Lead Instructor at Mathnasium, where I taught groups of 5 to 15 students, coordinated lessons to keep learning outcomes consistent, and trained new instructors. I kept detailed notes on each student's progress, challenges, and the strategies that worked for them, and I made a habit of breaking complex ideas into clear, step-by-step explanations. Earlier, I volunteered teaching at my local Tamil school, working with younger children, which, combined with my Mathnasium and Schoolhouse experience, means I'm comfortable adapting my approach across a wide range of ages and grade levels.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and highly individualized. I figure out where a student is getting stuck, build targeted practice around it, and use timed drills and thorough explanations to turn weak spots into confident strengths.
