I’m a certified teacher who works every day with students who learn and think differently. In my role as a resource teacher, I support students who struggle with reading, writing, and organization. Many of the students I work with feel overwhelmed or unsure of themselves, and I love helping them find a way back into learning. Watching a student realize they can understand something once it’s broken down clearly is one of my favorite parts of teaching.

My approach is patient, calm, and individualized. I don’t rush students or expect them to learn the same way. I take time to understand how they process information and then guide them step by step. Whether we’re working through a confusing chapter, getting started on writing, or approaching a math problem that feels intimidating, I focus on making the work feel manageable and clear. My goal is always to help students feel capable, supported, and less stressed.

Music is also a major part of my life. I’ve sung in professional choirs, performed in formal settings, and spent years developing my vocal technique. I play both piano and guitar, and I enjoy helping beginners explore music in a supportive environment. Whether a student is learning pitch and tone, practicing simple piano patterns, or getting comfortable with guitar rhythm, I work to make music feel natural and enjoyable. My background in both performance and education helps me connect with students who want to grow in their musical skills.
