Because I teach high school math every day, I know exactly what your student's class covers, where students get stuck, and what their teachers and exams are looking for. I tutor Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus (including AP), and SAT/ACT Math.

My style is patient, calm, and step-by-step. I don't just show students how to get an answer - I make sure they understand why, so they can do it on their own on test day. There's no such thing as a "math person" - just students who haven't had it explained the right way yet.

I have a degree in mathematics from ASU which required mastering algebra. I passed linear algebra, abstract algebra, and several advanced calculus classes that went far above and beyond basic algebra.

To get my degree in mathematics I had to take many algebra classes. Along the way I learned a lot of tricks and techniques to solve word problems and graph equations quickly and efficiently. I have over 10 years experience tutoring high school and college level algebra.
