Allen's approach was perfect for my daughter who was becoming over-anxious about the SAT. They worked together to make my daughter more comfortable with the types of problems she would encounter and it really helped! Highly Recommended
Allen was excellent in everyway. Pleasant to discuss the testing issues with and immediately performed an evaluation to ascertain problem areas. Very easy to work, with. We quickly established a schedule to accomplish improvement. Her depth of knowledge of the subjects was thorough and her ability to educate was solid (my daughter needed mostly math and science support for the ACT). I wish I'd have contacted Allen earlier as the time she spent with my daughter had a very positive impact. I would highly recommend her.

Excellent SAT Tutor - Highly Recommended
Tamara tutored my son for about three months from July through September, 2014. In this short duration, averaging 3 hours of tutoring per week, my son improved his SAT scores from 1990 (SAT taken in March 2014) to 2150 (SAT taken in October 2014). This is an excellent improvement and he could not have achieved the 2150 score without Tamara. Tamara was always professional, punctual, and was easily reachable either by email or phone. She came to each session well prepared with lesson plans and objectives clearly articulated, but was always willing to adjust the agenda at a moment’s notice based on our requests. I attended a few tutoring sessions with my son to gauge their interactions and as well as Tamara’s mastery of the SAT subjects. I am very happy to say that she passed both with flying colors. My son’s SAT score speaks for itself. In the beginning when I did not see significant progress right away based on the practiced SAT tests my son was taking, I became discouraged and reached out to Tamara to let her know my concerns. She was very understanding, did not feel slighted in any way, and worked with me collaboratively to plan the lessons, the additional practiced tests, and to get additional materials for my son to help speed up his progress. Tamara was also very flexible and was willing to re-schedule lessons to accommodate our summer schedule multiple times. Lastly, Tamara was very patient and always had a smile on her face. We are so happy to have found Tamara. We could not have found a better SAT tutor for my son that helped improved his score significantly in just three months. Thank you.
