I'm Carri! I graduated with an Associates while pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. I love to read and write. I spent a year tutoring Elementary reading, which is when I discovered how rewarding tutoring can be. Currently, I am a teacher who enjoys engaging with my elementary and middle school age students, many of whom struggle with dyslexia. I have a heart for these students and am passionate about helping them gain the confidence needed to overcome their educational challenges and develop a life-long love for learning.

As a prolific reader and aspiring writer, I love the English language. My goal is to inspire a love of the English language in your child by helping them overcome one obstacle at a time.

With 18 years of teaching experience, I look forward to every opportunity I have to assist elementary and middle school age children with reading, handwriting, and other core or hobby-related subjects. I welcome feedback from students and parents as I try to assist your child in the best way possible.

I am also qualified to teach beginning sewing lessons, needlework, and healthy cooking classes. I am comfortable teaching both children and adults.

Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson!
