For over 17 years, I successfully coached thousands of project managers worldwide in top firms and agencies (FBI, NASA, USAF, US Army, USACE, DoT, Honeywell, Siemens, Yale, TJU, Pepperdine etc.) for professional exams (PMP, PMI-SP, PMI-ACP, PMI-RMP, CAPM, PSM, Microsoft Project, Agile, leadership and risk management, project management basics). I enjoy helping students set and achieve their goals.

I am also a Leadership coach and speaker with the John Maxwell team. I bring a practical, pragmatic but optimistic view of the world of business. Companies I have worked for include Honeywell, Motorola, General Dynamics, American Airlines, CVS Caremark, Brown and Caldwell and several smaller business. I have mentored and coached professionals to succeed in their project management interviews, craft their resumes and develop their careers beyond the basic level to become six-figure earners.

I am also a music producer and multi-instrumentalist. I approach music from a world of sound and intuition, being essentially self-taught with a great ear for music across a number of instruments. Ear training should be approached from an organic and natural perspective, regardless your instrument, voice or ambition. This naturally developing musical skill relies on one's emotional state, brain ear.
I have personally produced and recorded hundreds of hours of music across all genres with 3 albums and 10 singles. I was one of the finalists in Take 6's Spread Love challenge having recorded and produced over 9 remixes of their Grammy award-winning song.

I hold a Masters of Science in Construction Information Technology from University of Greenwich UK. I am a fluent native English speaker. Born in the United Kingdom. I have written and edited over 15 books using the English language and edited several educational projects. I have tutored English and literature at the high school level. I particularly enjoy helping students who are stuck with a volume of content to cover and unravel. Since the age of 10, I subscribed to the well-known Reader's Digest and learnt hundreds of words because English has always been not just a language but a hobby too. I have over 2 decades of experience using Microsoft Excel for corporate uses, reporting and operations in record management. In 2007 I created the Layman's Guide to Excel and have stayed on top of the program since. I have created various graphs, charts and tables loaded with formulas for program management of several aggregated project costs. I have also used advanced features including macros and lookups to do my job and create reports for management. Certified with the ECDL for Excel. I am also PMP certified and use Excel to create schedules and track tasks. I particularly enjoy training those new to the application or those with very little experience.

I have over 2 decades of experience using Microsoft PowerPoint for corporate presentations and training. In 2007 I created the Layman's Guide to PowerPoint and have stayed on top of the program since. It has come a long way and is a lot more sophisticated. I have developed thousands of slides of PowerPoint with compelling graphics, animations, 3D icons, 2D icons, image editing, audio and video. I utilize some of the higher-end features of PowerPoint with Articulate and other programs to conduct training via Zoom. Certified with the ECDL for PowerPoint and I am CIW certified as a designer and proficient with graphics manipulation. I particularly enjoy training those new to the application or those with very little experience.

I have over 18 years of experience with Microsoft Project and I hold the following certifications: * Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) - MS Project * PMI-SP Certified (Project Management Institute Scheduling Professional) I built a curriculum (Layman's Guide to MS Project) with step by step video and textual aids starting in 2003 and have consistently kept up with improvements to MS Project till date. I have provided training for various individuals, firms and entities in MS Project and Scheduling. As a power user of MS Project from 2002 version till current (2016 and 365), I have used MS Project Server and MS Project Professional for large sized engineering and defense projects (Honeywell, Motorola, General Dynamics and others). I have also used baselining, resource loading, earned value functionality and other advanced aspects of MS Project. I also teach and use other scheduling tools including Smartsheet, Basic Kanban (Trello) and Project Libre.
