I bring years of professional experience and a strong dedication to educating students to become highly motivated learners in science. My instruction focuses on strengthening critical and analytical thinking, along with essential academic skills needed for lifelong learning. Equally important to me is developing non-cognitive skills such as growth mindset, goal-setting, grit, and character, which help students navigate challenges with competence and confidence.
My qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Science Education and ongoing completion of a Master’s degree in Special Education. I am a licensed teacher in the Philippines and hold active teaching licenses in Arizona and Tennessee. I have twelve years of teaching experience—seven years in the Philippines and five years in the United States—as a high school science teacher. I was honored as Legendary Teacher of the Year for my dedication to student growth and commitment to instructional excellence.
In my most recent role in Arizona, I developed and taught high school science curriculum, implemented effective classroom management, maintained a well-organized learning environment, and integrated technology into daily instruction. I created engaging lesson plans, conducted detailed student evaluations, applied Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and delivered culturally inclusive, student-centered instruction.
