My qualifications include both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in education. I have an active K-8 teaching license including an endorsement for junior high math instruction. I am also certified by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. My passion is teaching math and I have received extensive training in the area of math instruction through the Arizona Mathematics Partnership.
I have tutored students for my whole career outside of the classroom. I have worked with students in small groups, one-on-one, in-person, and virtually. I have tutoring experience across multiple age groups and content areas, but am highly effective with math instruction to students in grades 5-9. I enjoy making math concepts easier for students to understand so they can increase their success and confidence. I am very much looking forward to working with you!
