I am Julio! I graduated from the University of Bristol, England with a PhD degree in Computer Science, and a B.Sc. degree in Math. At university, I realized the classes I appreciated most were not necessarily the topics I was most interested in. Rather, it was the professors who made the classes more enjoyable. I am Julio! I graduated from the University of Bristol, England with a PhD degree in Computer Science, and a B.Sc. degree in Math. At university, I realized the classes I appreciated most were not necessarily the topics I was most interested in. Rather, it was the professors who made the classes more enjoyable. These professors were always engaging and comprehensible when teaching the material in the classroom, and willing to go the extra mile when I asked for additional help or clarification. I try to bring this knowledge to my tutoring approach, and make every thing I can to make learning a pleasant experience. I use lesson plans in which I usually introduce the topic in a fun and creative way, then explicitly teach the material. Afterwards, I always ensure time for students to practice the material on their own. Of course, this method can be adjusted based on the subject and student's individual needs.

I have tutoring experience in a wide range of computer science and Math. My expertise is highly multi-disciplinary and includes artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, data science, cloud services, mobile computing and networking. The main programming languages I use are C, C++, C#, Python, Dart, and Java. I utilize Pandas for data science; Tableau for data visualization; Flutter / Dart / Firebase or React / JavaScript / AWS for developing Web / mobile / desktop apps. Particularly, I will be very happy to help you deploying an AI solution such an AI chat bot, biometric authentication, detection of personal protective equipment, etc.

I work with any students and make sure they do not fall behind by holding tutoring regular sessions after school. I want to benefit the students I work with as much as possible, therefore welcome any resources or suggestions students or parents can provide. Knowledgeable and patient tutor!

Julio helped me with the basic concepts of statistics by teaching me most of the symbols and their meanings. He also helped me with me understanding of the P-value chart and the F- value chart as well.
