Hello, my name is Alexander. I graduated from Cornell College with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology, earned my Master's of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University, where I have continued my education at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. Whether you're a pre-med high school/college student requiring assistance or someone struggling to learn how to study/prepare for an exam, I can help! The oldest son of an educator for over 25 years, the importance of a quality education has been emphasized my entire life. Let's work together to figure out a) where the disconnect/lack of understanding is; b) address the disconnect/lack of understanding; c) assess why the lapse in understanding occurred; and d) develop a strategy to prevent running into the same obstacle moving forward.

As a medical student, my background includes college and graduate level coursework in life and physical sciences, including their respective sub disciplines. I also have experience in preparing for standardized exams (SAT, GRE, MCAT, COMLEX, USMLE, etc.).

My experience in working with others understand concepts isn't just limited to the classroom; I have 10+ years of competitive basketball coaching experience with both males and females through the collegiate level. Through basketball, I've learned how to utilize various approaches to cater to the learning styles of different individuals. By applying this mindset to tutoring, I'm confident we can figure out the most effective method of learning that is best for you in terms of efficiency and retention.

I am extremely open to feedback and appreciate open lines of communication as much as possible. If something isn't working for you, please let me know! We can remedy the issue much quicker working together as opposed to trying to figure it out alone. I am committed to assisting you in achieving your academic (or athletic!) endeavors in any way that I can.

Very helpful & caring tutor!

I was apprehensive to begin working with a tutor because I wasn't sure it would be effective, but ALEX is the go-to guy for tutoring! Alex is a well-organized and responsive tutor who is well-versed in the sciences. Alex assisted me in completing my Microbiology extra credit assignment. He is very passionate about teaching and I highly recommend him as a tutor. I will absolutely be scheduling more sessions with Alex in the future. Thank you Alex!

Thank you

After my son's first meeting with Alex, he came to me smiling because Alex broke down the lesson more so he could have a better understanding and I appreciate that. Thank you so much for taking your time with my son Christopher.
