Bio

I am a recent college graduate with a Masters in Public Administration (essentially the study of government, politics, and public policy) and currently work full time for the state government. Back when I was in high school, I passed the AP Government exam with a 5 and that course is what really set my interest in government/politics in motion. I am a recent college graduate with a Masters in Public Administration (essentially the study of government, politics, and public policy) and currently work full time for the state government. Back when I was in high school, I passed the AP Government exam with a 5 and that course is what really set my interest in government/politics in motion. I am passionate about helping others learn more about the ins-and-outs of what makes our nation work!

I also excel at writing and have received high marks in both AP courses in High School and in college-level English and Writing courses at Arizona State University. Since the study of government inevitably involves writing and analysis, I am eager to help others expand in this academic arena as well.

My academic credentials (five+ years of post-secondary schooling) in the study of government administration and politics include a bachelor's of science in public policy and a master's in public administration (MPA). I attempt to relate exam questions/prompts to real-life examples that students can identify with, both as a way of understanding the actual question and the underlying importance of why that question is being asked. I have found that students respond well to learning when the material is understandable, relatable, and digestible, rather than overwhelming and nonsensical.

I am pretty casual with appointments and take an easy approach to learning, as long as students are engaged in the learning process and are willing to try to make advancements in their own learning. If contacted, I would like to meet to set up personal goals, find out what you are most looking for, any struggle areas and areas you already excel in, and set up future appointments.
