ASVAB Math help
Heather, 1 lesson with DouglasDoug did a great job allowing my son to address his questions. He made him feel confident when he left that he understood how to do more than he thought, it’s just a matter of dusting it off and bringing the knowledge back out. My son is looking forward to getting more help from Doug before he tests. Overall, one lesson and he already feels more confident... that’s huge.
I have been a high school teacher since 1998. I thoroughly enjoy teaching high school science and mathematics. I have taught the following courses: Algebra I and II, Geometry, Physical Science, and Chemistry. Teaching is both an art and a science. I enjoy it when students learn how to learn and especially when that learning leads to a desire to continue learning.

We really appreciate tutors like Mr Douglas. My daughter didn’t have access to her test. The test would have helped pin point her mistakes and where she need help. She explained and showed past lessons from her book. From that, he helped her in ways we didn’t except! This was our first lesson, definitely not our last. Thank you Mr Douglas!

Douglas is a fantastic honors Algebra 2/3 math tutor for our daughter in high school. He’s very, very accommodating when scheduling tutoring appointments. Douglas was able to tutor my daughter last minute after her regular tutor had to cancel. She had a test and he was able to accommodate same day tutoring. She felt more confident after tutoring with him. It was last minute but I didn't feel he was unprepared in any way and if he had notice it would only be better!

Extremely Knowledgeable AP Chemistry Tutor

Doug helped my son with his current chemistry unit. Prior to the tutoring, my son wasn't even sure where to start with balancing a chemistry equation. Throughout the tutoring session, I heard comments from my son, such as, "that makes sense" and "I didn't know that at all". He seemed to catch on very quickly. I was very pleased with his progress after only one session. I plan to continue utilizing Doug's tutoring services in the future.
