He made him feel confident when he left that he understood how to do more than he thought, it’s just a matter of dusting it off and bringing the knowledge back out. My son is looking forward to getting more help from Doug before he tests. Overall, one lesson and he already feels more confident... that’s huge.
I have been a high school teacher since 1998. I thoroughly enjoy teaching high school science and mathematics. I have taught the following courses: Algebra I and II, Geometry, Physical Science, and Chemistry. Teaching is both an art and a science. I enjoy it when students learn how to learn and especially when that learning leads to a desire to continue learning.

We really appreciate tutors like Mr Douglas. My daughter didn’t have access to her test. The test would have helped pin point her mistakes and where she need help. She explained and showed past lessons from her book. From that, he helped her in ways we didn’t except! This was our first lesson, definitely not our last. Thank you Mr Douglas!
