Hello! My name is David G! I have a Bachelor’s Degree in business from Virginia College Online. I also am working to earn my AZ teaching certificate (not required at the public charter school where I taught for 4 1/2 years).
I have been teaching math for six years! Four and half of which were teaching 7th and 8th grade pre-algebra and algebra at a Great Hearts school (Public Charter School). The past year and half I have been teaching high school algebra and geometry at a public high school in the Peoria School District.
For algebra, I teach fundamentals of math operations and prefer using PEMDAS, but have also taught GEMS. I can tutor basic orders of operations, solving one and two variable equations, linear equations and functions, exponent rules, and up to statistics. For geometry I can tutor angles of shapes (including Pythagorean theorem) and for transversal lines, circles, and some proof work.
