Hello! My name is Atik, and I am passionate about teaching Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE). I recently graduated with an M.Sc. in Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), specializing in Electrical Energy and Power Systems, with a CGPA of 3.92/4.00. I also completed my B.Sc. in EEE at BUET, graduating with honors in 2022. Starting in Fall 2024, I will pursue a Ph.D. at Arizona State University, focusing on power system dynamics.
I have a diverse background in teaching and tutoring at various educational levels. Since December 2023, I have been a senior lecturer in the EEE department of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) responsible for developing and delivering course material, conducting lectures, and mentoring students on academic and research projects. From February 2022 to November 2023, I worked as a full time lecturer at ULAB, EEE department too. In addition, I worked as an adjunct lecturer in Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) in the Department of Textile Machinery Design and Maintenance (TMDM) within the EEE Section.
Moreover, I have tutored high school students in physics, math, and chemistry, and prepared them for admission tests. This experience refined my ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible manner.
My teaching philosophy centers on the belief that every student can excel with the right guidance. I break down complex concepts into simpler parts and use practical examples to illustrate theoretical principles. I strive to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. By tailoring my methods to individual learning styles, I help students build confidence and achieve their academic goals.
