I have always enjoyed and excelled in math and physics. This was a major factor in my decision to study mechanical engineering at Arizona State University, where I graduated magna cum laude. During a portion of my time at ASU, I worked as a student tutor in the engineering tutoring center where I helped fellow students understand homework and test problems. In addition, I have tutored multiple high school students in math or physics on a private basis.

Great First Study Session
We have never used a tutor before but my son is struggling with physics and was reluctant to seek help so we got it for him. Maxwell immediately set Ryan at ease and basically started from the beginning, bringing him up to speed as far as he could in 1 session. Ryan interacted well with him. Tonight, he is reviewing Kahn academy on-line and on his own since "Maxell said this will help me". We have already booked another session with Maxwell next week.

In just three sessions, Maxwell has connected with my daughter and explained Algebra in a way she can understand. Her grades are already improving. Max has helped me to build my confidence in Physics. I've never taken this subject and would be completely lost without his help. He's very patient, knowledgable and has the ability to explain concepts in multiple different. If I don't understand something, he can rephrase it in a different way until I get it.
