Hello! I am a certified teacher in my state. I have taught and worked with college students for over five years, both during my college career and in graduate school. I now currently teach high school mathematics. My bachelor's degree is in Mathematics and Physics, and I also hold an MA in Mathematics. I will work with high school students (9th-12th grade) as well as any age of adult learners. I have taught both in-person and online courses, and I use a tablet to make online tutoring effective and meaningful.

My learning and teaching philosophy lies in helping my student learn how to learn. I am happy to be a part of your support through your academic journey, but regardless of how young or old you may be, my ultimate goal is to help YOU take charge and understand what works best for you. This is something that many people struggle with in math, and I delight in helping people see patterns and explain concepts in their own words. My sessions may involve helping you relearn content, but ultimately, I aim to be a guide, not an authority.

Classes that I have taught and prefer to tutor in include the following: Algebra I, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Algebra-Based Physics, Calculus-Based Physics. I am also willing and able to work with Pre-Algebra, SAT Prep, and ACT Prep.

One thing about me to know before we work together - I do not condone the use of generative AI (including ChatGPT) in a learning context. I will not use it in session or allow you to do so, and I will not encourage it for any academic purposes.
