My name is Raiyaan, and I'm a college senior completing my Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, a field I've always been fascinated with. Engineering being my childhood interest, I naturally developed a deep understanding of math and a special appreciation for the subject. As others saw this talent in me, friends and parents began asking for my help in math before I was even 15. Since then, I've taught everything from Elementary and HS math to even Calculus! So - what have I learned over the past decade about math?
I learned that math is not what most teachers and students make it; it's not memorizing magical numbers and formulas to regurgitate them during tests. Math is logic, reason, and understanding how things work in real-life. Math is supposed to make SENSE! And that - that's exactly what everyone else misses.
I teach in a way that actually makes sense to the brain, which makes math so much easier and, dare I say, a lot more fun! I use a hands-on approach so my students can develop a deep understanding and appreciation for math. Regardless of a student's academic level, I have the experience and tools necessary to make math easy and accessible to everyone.
