I am an experienced educator with a strong academic background and a commitment to integrating technology and social-emotional learning (SEL) into my teaching. I am currently pursuing an EdD in Educational Technology from Boise State University. I hold an MA in English Literature from Northern Arizona University and an MAEd in Educational Counseling from Azusa Pacific University, where I also earned my BA in Biblical Studies. My diverse academic pursuits blend literature, counseling, and technology.

I have an extensive teaching career spanning over a decade, marked by my roles in various educational institutions. I have served as an Instructor at Northern Arizona University since 2015, teaching a range of English courses, including African American Literature, Multi-Ethnic US Literature, and Academic Writing. My role at Davidson Academy Online as a Student Services Manager and English Instructor from 2017 to 2022 highlights my expertise in online education and my ability to manage and support students in a digital environment. Additionally, I have taught at the University of Nevada Reno and Azusa Pacific University, where I designed and delivered courses in expository writing, preparatory composition, and general psychology.

Throughout my career, I have taught students from middle school to college, adapting my methods to suit different age groups and learning contexts. My experience includes classroom teaching, one-on-one tutoring, and course management for online platforms. I hold multiple teaching certifications, including credentials in school counseling and secondary English teaching in California, Arizona, and Nevada. My professional development is further demonstrated by certifications such as Google Certified Educator and Universal Design for Learning.
