I am an experienced tutor and student of Russian Language and Literature. I have spent many years in Russia and throughout Western and Eastern Europe. There is no substitute for learning any language really other than spending time in the host country. That being said, one requires a thorough understanding of the grammatical structures beforehand as a foundation. Understanding something about the history and culture also goes a long way.
