As part of a class, I taught 6th grade science for a semester. There, I deepened my understanding for lesson planning and teaching. For about 6 years now, I have absolutely enjoyed chemistry and it has always been my favorite class. I understand that it can be a difficult and frustrating subject; however, I like to break it down in order to fully understand the material in ways aligned with my student. Although I mention chemistry a whole bunch, I do have experience in general science for both middle and high school.
My intentions are to enable a learning experience special to each student. Everyone learns differently and having someone who understands that, makes all the difference!
