My long career in Korea taught me how to be patient and how to explain difficult grammar and vocabulary in a way that is easy to understand. Recently, I have enjoyed teaching Korean one-on-one to international students for a year, helping them navigate both the language and the beautiful culture of my home country.
My tutoring approach is very student-centered and flexible. I believe that every learner has different goals, whether you want to master the Korean alphabet (Hangeul), improve your conversational skills for travel, or understand Korean media like K-dramas and music. I like to use various materials to keep our sessions engaging and practical. Because I speak both English and Korean fluently, I can clearly explain the "why" behind Korean grammar while sharing real-life cultural tips.
