For more than two decades, I've dedicated my career to helping students build confidence and clarity in their learning, especially in mathematics. I hold a degree in Elementary Education and am an Arizona certified teacher in both Elementary and Secondary Education. Over the years, I've served in a wide range of roles from classroom volunteer, substitute teacher, paraeducator, and lead teacher. These positions have given me a deep understanding of how students grow, struggle, and ultimately succeed when they receive the right support.
My experience spans early elementary through high school math in multiple levels, and I've taught in both classroom and virtual settings as well as one on one environments. This variety has shaped my tutoring approach: patient, structured, and rooted in breaking concepts down into manageable steps. I focus on strengthening foundational skills, building problem solving strategies, and helping students truly understand the why behind the math they're learning. Whether a student needs to catch up, stay on track, or move ahead, I tailor instruction to their learning style and pace.
Above all, I believe every student is capable of success in math. My goal is to create a supportive space where learners feel comfortable asking questions, exploring new strategies, and celebrating their progress. With consistency, encouragement, and clear guidance, students discover that math isn't just something they can do. It's something they can feel confident about.
