I am a graduate student in Electrical Engineering with a strong academic foundation and a passion for helping students build confidence in technical subjects. I earned both my Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and my Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Morgan State University, where I maintained a GPA above 3.9 throughout my studies. My coursework and hands-on experience have given me a deep understanding of mathematics, circuit analysis, electronics, programming, and problem-solving strategies that are essential for student success.
In addition to my academic background, I have meaningful teaching and mentoring experience working with students of different ages and learning styles. As a mentor with Verizon Innovation Learning, I supported middle and high school students in subjects such as mathematics, programming, and 3D modeling. This role involved one-on-one guidance, small-group instruction, and adapting explanations to meet students where they were academically. I focused on building foundational understanding while encouraging curiosity, confidence, and independent thinking. I have also supported learners in both structured instructional settings and hands-on project-based environments.
My tutoring approach is patient, structured, and student-centered. I break down complex topics into clear, manageable steps and use real-world examples to make abstract concepts more relatable. Whether a student needs help strengthening fundamentals, preparing for exams, or developing problem-solving skills, I tailor each session to their goals and learning pace. I believe every student can succeed in math and engineering-related subjects with the right guidance, encouragement, and strategies, and I am committed to helping them reach that potential.
