I have learned from fellow photographers, both from an equipment and from an artistic standpoint over twenty-five years of participation. After twenty years in Packaging Research with two major Corporations, I left that world and opened a Photography and Custom Framing Studio.
During this period I continued my photographic education through a multitude of classes, Seminars, Workshops and Conventions.
Also, I participated as a member of many Field Workshops led by qualified Pro-Photographers. And I became a member of various Professional Photography groups including the Professional Photographers of America, Inc.
Through PPA's school and other training opportunities I was able to earn my Master's of Photography degree. During this period I taught various public and private classes on Photography. Also during this time, I lead my own Photo-Workshops in the field, in various parts of the country and concentrating on the Southwestern U.S.
I believe I am well qualified to continue to teach photography, due not only to my background and experience, but also with my many years of direct contact with the public, both through the Studio and the training experiences I have had.
With many Thanks to the many people and organizations who have taught me over the years, I would like to pass along whatever knowledge I have gained to those interested in learning this interesting and exciting field.
