I am a new graduate nurse from the University of Arizona, with a strong academic record and consistent A’s throughout my nursing program. I am currently preparing for RN licensure within the next month and have developed a strong foundation in nursing fundamentals, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, and pathophysiology through both coursework and extensive clinical experience. I am more than happy to help with other nursing courses or assignments such as care plans!
In addition to my academic and clinical training, I have experience working as a medical scribe in the emergency department, where I became highly comfortable with medical terminology, disease processes, and documenting complex patient presentations in real time. This role significantly strengthened my understanding of pathophysiology, differential diagnoses, and clinical reasoning, and helped me become confident in explaining complex medical concepts in a clear and structured way. I also previously worked in veterinary medicine for several years, which helped build my foundational understanding of physiology, patient care, and biological systems.
I have also informally tutored and supported classmates throughout my nursing program by explaining difficult concepts, leading study sessions, and helping peers prepare for exams. My tutoring approach focuses on simplifying complex material into clear, understandable steps and helping students understand the “why” behind disease processes, pharmacology, and NCLEX-style questions rather than relying on memorization alone. I adapt my teaching style based on each student’s learning needs, whether that includes visual explanations, guided practice questions, or breaking down concepts using real clinical examples. My goal is to help students build confidence, improve exam performance, and feel more in control of challenging nursing coursework.
