Hello! I’m Paul, and I’m excited to call Summit, Arkansas, my new home after moving here with my family from Coastal Oregon. This area’s natural beauty and close-knit community make it the perfect place to share my passion for education.

I bring over a decade of teaching experience and hold a Master’s degree in Biology, specializing in Ethnobotany, Botany, and Wildlife—fields that align wonderfully with the rich natural environment of the Ozarks. My goal is to make learning an adventure, whether we’re exploring biology, discussing wildlife, or tackling math challenges. I believe education should be engaging, practical, and connected to the world around us, especially in a rural setting like Summit.

For me, teaching is about building meaningful relationships with students. I’m not just a tutor—I’m a mentor, guide, and motivator. My experience spans from kindergarten classrooms to college lecture halls, allowing me to tailor my approach to learners of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you’re a curious student diving into science for the first time or an adult looking to refresh your skills, I’m here to make the journey enjoyable and effective.

With a current teaching certificate and years of experience, I’ve helped countless students not only grasp challenging concepts but also develop a genuine love for science and math. My teaching philosophy is simple: make learning relatable, enjoyable, and rooted in real-world applications.
