I am currently doing my student teaching for my educational degree. I will be fully certified in both history and English very soon. I enjoy helping my students succeed; I treat them just as I would my own kids and expect the best from them. This does not mean that I hand them a book or paper and say "just do i"t but that we work at things that will help them to identify with the subjects and allow them to think critically about the subjects at hand.

I believe that every student has a way of learning that is unique and we have to tap into that as needed in order for the student to succeed. My philosophy about education is this: A good educator does whatever it takes to help a student succeed. However the student must work to succeed as well.
