My credentials include a BS in Mathematics and BA in Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Texas Teacher Certificate in Secondary Mathematics from the University of Houston. I spent two undergraduate years at the University of Pittsburgh, where I was on the prestigious Dean's List a number of times, and where I earned enough hours to have a minor in Physics. Since college, I have delved into epistemology, the history and philosophy of physics, and the history and philosophy...

Patient, Friendly, and Genuine Physics Tutor
I highly recommend him as a physics tutor! I worked with him for two months throughout college-level calculus-based Physics 1 (Mechanics), and he was incredibly patient, friendly, and genuine. He never made me feel embarrassed about asking questions or needing to go back and review concepts that I had forgotten. One of my favorite things about his teaching was how he often explained physics from the perspective of how scientists actually discovered these ideas, rather than focusing on memorizing equations. He helped me understand where the concepts came from, why they worked, and how to connect the ideas. We would work through problems together step by step, and he always took the time to make sure I understood the reasoning behind what we were doing. He also helped me review some basic geometry and calculus that I had forgotten, which helped me approach the physics problems more confidently. He is very knowledgeable and encouraging. Physics was definitely challenging for me, but I’m very grateful that I had his help throughout the course. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a tutor who is patient, thoughtful, and interested in helping you understand physics!
