I attended Ouachita Baptist University where I became a certified music educator with a rich experience of vocal music performance, band performance, and theater performance. I also became involved in students with special needs - giving them lessons in music and encouraging them in their endeavors. I now work as a paraprofessional and I am soon to be trained in dyslexia intervention.

I was an excellent test-taker in school and would love to tutor my students on how to overcome test anxiety and reach for their goals, no matter how high!
I received a 33 composite score on the ACT (twice!) and English was among my highest scoring sections. I also completed AP Language with a score of 4 and AP Literature with a score of 5 (the highest score). Beyond my test-taking credentials, I am also a certified teacher with a passion for helping students overcome test anxiety and make their dream score!
As a university-trained musician, I have experience tutoring college-level students in music theory, giving voice lessons, and assisting students with brass instrument technique. Although I am primarily a classical vocal performer and music educator, I am quite varied in experience and also know much about composition, recording, and various music styles, including pop and folk.
I am currently a paraprofessional who has worked intensively with students with a variety of special needs, but I am trained in dyslexia intervention and Phonics First literacy methodology. I would love to help your students reach their literacy goals! I am also a music educator, and have seen students respond and succeed when music is incorporated into literacy and general education.
