I have worked in various areas of accounting and business for the past 20 plus years, from tax accounting, public accounting, to general ledger, financial reporting and internal controls. I am currently the Chief Financial Officer of a $1.1B lending institution managing all aspects of the accounting/finance department, operationally and fiscally. I also manage the project management and information technology group. I have touched almost every aspect of financial business.
Working in accounting and business for over 20 years, I have found that my passion is to help coach and develop others for success. I recently attended the Wharton Leadership program at the University of Philadelphia- through the Stonier Graduate school of Banking, continuing to develop myself in various areas. I have tutored accounting students and had several students job shadow and spend a few days in the office with me. I believe in helping students learn by helping them understand how what they are learning would be applied to a real life situation- beyond just the theory of the work. I am also currently mentoring two students through distance learning who are in their last (third) year of the Stonier graduate school of banking program working through their Capstone projects.
I have 20 plus years of accounting experience. Public accounting, Tax accounting, auditing, financial reporting, cost accounting etc. A degree in accounting, MBA, Stonier Graduate school of banking diploma, Wharton Leadership certificate.
I am more than happy to discuss your subject area with you and help you decide if you think I can help you before we commit to any type of tutoring relationship. My schedule is relatively flexible and you can reach out to me at anytime of the day. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I regularly speak before groups ranging from 5-120 individuals. I used to struggle with Public Speaking but had a great teacher myself that pushed me outside my comfort zone and now I am very comfortable with it and am often time asked to speak at different company engagements or asked to work through activities with large groups.
