I am a licensed high school mathematics teacher with more than 30 years of teaching experience, and I previously worked as an ACT instructor at Kaplan, where I received the highest score in student surveys. I have also conducted many ACT Math boot camps independently, helping students strengthen both their math skills and test-taking strategies. I focus on the topics that appear most often on the ACT and teach students how to solve problems more efficiently and accurately. My goal is to help students understand the math, avoid common mistakes, manage their time well, and feel confident on test day.

I have taught Algebra 1 for many years and worked with students at many different skill levels. When a student is struggling, I first identify where the difficulty starts, then explain the topic clearly and work through examples step by step. I have taught Geometry for many years, including angles, triangles, similarity, congruence, circles, coordinate geometry, transformations, area, volume, and proofs. I explain problems step by step and help students understand the reasoning behind each concept, rather than just memorizing formulas. I also work on any missing Algebra skills that may be making Geometry more difficult.
