As a doctoral-prepared registered nurse, I bring over a decade of experience across emergency, ICU, med-surg, LTAC, case management, infection prevention, employee health, and risk management. I began my career as an LPN in 2014, became an RN in 2015, earned my MSN in Leadership and Nurse Management in 2022, and completed my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in 2025.

I’ve had the privilege of mentoring and precepting nursing students, new graduates, and interdisciplinary staff throughout my career. My teaching experience includes leading educational sessions, creating evidence-based learning materials, and tutoring students from LPN through MSN programs. I specialize in helping learners strengthen clinical reasoning, understand complex disease processes, and confidently apply theory to practice.

My tutoring style is interactive, visual, and personalized. I believe students learn best when information is presented in relatable, real-world ways—especially in nursing, where critical thinking and application are key. I incorporate case studies, visual tools, and scenario-based discussions to make difficult topics approachable and meaningful.
