I have previously enjoyed educating fellow staff members and student nurses as they complete their clinical rotations. I have experience as a nurse preceptor and thoroughly enjoy teaching and training. I believe current nurses can shape the future of the nursing field by helping educate up and coming nurses.
My nursing experience sets me apart from many others. I have been an ER/Trauma nurse since 2015. I have med/surg and extended care (post heart cath) recovery. I also have worked in a long-term acute care setting on the med/surg unit and the ICU. I have experience as a charge nurse in the ER and at the LTACH. I have experience as a travel nurse, which shows I can adapt and have additional experience from different organizations that can be beneficial in teaching.
I am confident in my ability to educate others by using my hands on experience and my Master's degree.
