One was art and the other was Latin. You can imagine which one I took. I really fell in love with art and got a teaching degree in art. I taught junior high, high school and college for 16 years and then decided I wanted to do more in art. I was a graphic artist in Phoenix for about 20 years, (when it was NOT all computers)... You actually needed to be able to draw. Cartooning was my specialty.
I have illustrated over 35 children's activity books, designed logos, and all forms of graphic art. I was also a quick draw caricature artist working for many large corporations. My real passion is teaching people the elements of drawing in pencil, pen and ink or other drawing media. My form of teaching is very hands on and I am confident you will be pleased with the results of my teaching.
