My formal teaching experience includes serving as an adjunct instructor at the University of Arkansas and John Brown University, where I taught undergraduate students in traditional classroom settings. Courses included Introduction to Public Relations, News Writing, Speech I and II, Political Communication, and foundational Communications courses. In these roles, I developed course content, delivered lectures, evaluated written and oral assignments, and provided individualized feedback to support student growth.
In addition to classroom teaching, I have extensive one-on-one instructional experience through executive career coaching and academic mentoring. For more than seven years, I have worked individually with students, professionals, and executives across the United States, helping them strengthen writing skills, critical thinking, public speaking, research, and professional communication. This individualized work closely mirrors tutoring environments and allows me to tailor instruction to each learner’s needs, goals, and learning style.
