I graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, where I was recognized as the school-wide Calculus Student of the Year in 2016. Since graduation, I've worked in the life sciences industry designing control systems that monitor and regulate critical processes in vaccine production and development. This real-world experience has given me a deep understanding of how the math, physics, and engineering principles we study in school translate directly into solving complex, high-stakes problems. I became a licensed Professional Engineer two years ago, specializing in control systems.
During my time at the University of Arkansas, I served as a tutor for all core engineering courses and mechanical engineering courses, working one-on-one with students tackling everything from statics and dynamics to thermodynamics and fluid mechanics. My approach centers on understanding how each student thinks about the problems they're trying to solve. Rather than simply showing the steps, I provide tailored tools and frameworks that help students build genuine problem-solving skills and confidence in their abilities.
