I start by meeting my students where they are, conducting thorough assessments to determine a baseline from which we can grow together.
I am always intentional about checking in with my students to hear from them whether they feel confident in the topics or not, and communicating very consistently with the parents to ensure they maintain a proactive role in their child's learning experience. I believe collaboration is the greatest way to guarantee academic development and I aspire to see that happen in every child I teach.
