I am currently pursuing a double major in Psychology and Criminology at the University of Central Arkansas, with the goal of becoming a criminal behavior analyst. My coursework has given me a strong foundation in research methods, critical thinking, and writing, and I enjoy taking complex theories and breaking them down into clear, approachable concepts. Because of this, I feel especially prepared to tutor in areas related to psychology, criminology, writing, and study skills.
I have experience working one-on-one with peers and classmates, where I often assisted them with essay structure, research integration, and study strategies. These informal teaching experiences have allowed me to develop a tutoring approach that is patient, encouraging, and tailored to the individual’s needs. I understand that every student learns differently, so I focus on adapting my explanations until the material feels manageable and engaging.
My goal as a tutor is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence in learning. Whether guiding a high school student through an essay or helping a college student prepare for exams, I bring a supportive and organized approach that allows students to feel comfortable asking questions and making progress. I am passionate about education and excited to share what I’ve learned with others who want to succeed academically.
